Our Mission

CEEDS4Change creates collaborations among public schools, higher education and businesses to empower underserved families in organic and non-GMO gardening, nutritious cooking and healthy eating.

Youth Leadership Program

The project is the expansion of a  six week leadership program held in the summer of 2021 in collaboration with a number of stakeholders including the Boston Public Schools, The City of Boston, City Year and  Suffolk University. The   Curriculum will include: Educate on racial and economic disparities as roots of food insecurity; weekly field trips to explore regional food disparities via supermarkets; Gardening (community, backyard, and scrap); and Cooking (healthy snacks, vegetable dishes, desserts). The program will culminate with an end of program presentation to stakeholders. 

Giving Back

CEEDS4Change is a collaborative community initiative founded and operated by members of the Greater Boston community. Each executive board member brings a unique perspective informed by long-time experience working with Boston public schools and/or institutions of higher education throughout the Boston area and a rich history of working with the community’s most underserved.
